Retained Consultancy
Guidance and assistance is available whenever you need it most based on a fixed monthly fee, a Retained Consultancy Service allows clients to consult direct with us over a longer period of time, or on an ad-hoc basis.
Fixed term fees are calculated upon the complexity of the works entailed and timescales required for completion. The benefit of a retained service enables your organisation to accomplish legal compliance and maintain proactive safety performance within an agreed timeframe allowing the workforce to buy into new processes and procedures. Various payment options are available for fixed term contracts that allow you to spread the cost over a period of time so as to cause minimal impact to your business.
We can also be appointed as your “competent Health and Safety Adviser” for your organisation as required by UK legislation.

Fire Risk Assessments
On the 1st April 2006 the Regulatory reform (Fire & Safety) order, came into force. SSC will undertake your FRA to using the following methodology:
- All fire risks will be assessed and results recorded within your fire risk assessments.
- Records to show what fire-fighting equipment has been provided, together with how its maintained and regularly inspected.
- An Emergency Action Plan will be formulised, agreed and displayed.
- Fire marshals will receive fire training in the use of equipment & procedures in the event of fire. (Via e-learning)
- A review of existing fire detection, warning systems and escape routes currently available to allow people to evacuate the building safely.
- Agreed action plans have been developed and signed off outlining any completion dates for remedial works.
Upon SSC visiting your premises you will receive a comprehensive fire risk assessments to enable you to meet compliance.
